At Tong Seng Produce, we are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. If you have received a product that you believe to be pertaining to the perishability of rice or food staples, you may be eligible for an exchange subject to the terms outlined below.
Eligibility for Exchange
You may request an exchange under either of the following conditions:
Proof of Purchase
The product was purchased within the last 6 months, and a valid proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice) can be provided.
Packaging Date Validity
The product is within 6 months from its packing date, which is calculated as 2 years prior to the Best Before Date printed on the rice packaging.
Additional Conditions for Exchange
Please note that each exchange request is limited to up to 10kg of product, even if your original purchase exceeds this amount.
Exchange is strictly on a one-to-one basis for the same product. Substitutions will only be made if the original product is unavailable, and will be limited to a suitable equivalent at Tong Seng Produce’s discretion.
The product must be returned in its original packaging for quality inspection and verification purposes.
This one-time exchange service is offered by Tong Seng Produce Pte Ltd, acting on behalf of the original retailer from which the product was purchased.
The exchange should be scheduled within two weeks of our confirmation email.
How to Request an Exchange
To initiate an exchange, please contact our Customer Support team with:
Your proof of purchase (if applicable)
Clear photos of the product, packaging, and Best Before Date
A brief description of the issue
Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will follow up with instructions on the next steps.
Non-Exchangeable Conditions
Products without original packaging
Products past the 6-month eligibility window (from date of purchase or packing date inferred from best before date)

Note: This exchange policy is offered as an additional service. It does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or the Sale of Goods Act. If you have received a defective product or believe the product is not of satisfactory quality, you may still have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund beyond the timeframes specified here.
