SōngHè Good Man Good Deeds Good Rice Cash Draw was launched in Nov 2021 to 31 Jan 2022 for a total of $120,000 cash to be won.
We had conducted the draw on 15 Feb 2022 at the Singapore Press Holdings office. For the event, we have formally invited Mr. Choo Chee Wee (Editor in SPH), Ms Josephine Lee (Enterprise & Customer Action Teams Deputy Head in SPH) and Ms. Stephanie Lim (Team Lead of Enterprise Advertising Solutions in SPH) to randomly draw the 33 lucky winners of the draw. This was done under the witness of Helen Sim (Auditor and Director of Ark Associates PAC), Mr. Richard Chee (Executive Director of TSP), Mr. Jerry Ng (Executive Director of TSP), Mr. Lau Han Tung (Sales Director of TSP), and Ally Ng (Marketing Director of TSP).
The Winners Announcement Advertisement will be published in LianHe Zao Bao and The Straits Times on 22 Feb 2022. All winners will be notified by phone, post and/or email. Winners will then be invited to nominate a charity organisation from the 12 charities listed below. The charity organisation of their choice will receive the same amount of winnings, dollar for dollar matched by SōngHè. For the benefit of all beneficiaries, each organization will be entitled to a maximum of 3 donations.

As part of its continued effort to establish SōngHè as ‘A Brand of Singapore’, the brand celebrated Singapore’s progress over the past 55 years through a fun and engaging manner with a locally-themed game titled ‘Count on 米 Singapore!’
From 27 July to 12 August, players were challenged to search for rice bowls hidden among the landscape — a portrayal of old (harbour with many ships) and new Singapore (Marina Bay Sands, Merlion etc.).
Through this game, we communicate our familiarity with past and present Singapore, thereby establishing ourselves as a homegrown brand. At the same time, we showed our appreciation for the social media community by generously awarding 55 lucky players with a SG55 SōngHè Gift Set each!

FOR THE PAST 30 YEARS, SōngHè (松鹤) rice brand has been well received by food lovers all over Singapore for its quality rice at a reasonable price. As one of Singapore’s largest rice importers, SóngHè lives and breathes its brand promise to provide and maintain a stable supply of fresh, good-quality rice, especially during times of crisis.
With that in mind, some years ago SōngHè invested in cold storage facilities, both in Singapore and Thailand, the country of origin of SóngHè rice, in order to store rice so it retains its freshness before distribution to retail outlets.
Recently, when the Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) level was raised to Orange, Singaporeans started panic buying and stockpiling rice. To reassure the community that SóngHè had enough rice for everyone, the rice importer mobilised its delivery teams to all retail outlets, even on Sunday.
Since 2004, SōngHè has constantly cultivated its brand DNA ‘Good man, Good deeds, Good rice’, initiating many heart-warming campaigns that instil Love and Compassion into our hearts. Starting out with the orange paper cranes, the symbol of goodness, in which SóngHè donated 100 grams of rice to designated beneficiaries for every mission accomplished, it has since been involved in many other campaigns to encourage good deeds and spread kindness. Therefore, it was hardly surprising when the company was approached earlier this year by Lianhe Zaobao, the main Chinese media in Singapore, to sponsor a ten-part series to document good deeds among the community during the COVID-19 crisis.
